Which path should I take?

Here's the deal: I am about to be a Junior in college. I finished two years and I have another two to go. During the time before I entered college, I decided to major in Education, which I think may have been a mistake. I'm a good teacher and I did well student teaching, but I feel as though I lack the passion or desire to do so. I recently realized that I have a true passion for animals. I love all kinds of animals and I honestly feel as though I would be very happy pursuing a career in which I took care of animals: maybe opening up my own shelter, kennel, or something of the like. The thing is, although I love being a teacher, I would be happier taking the alternate approach, but right now I feel stuck. I feel as though quitting school right now to pursue my animal interests would be a waste of money, and I'm considering maybe just sticking through for the next two years and going back to school while maybe substituting while I'm "going back to school." I know, it's my future, but what do you guys think would be best for me? Should I wait it out or should I make some changes.
